Keepin’ It Real with Al Sharpton: Justice for Michael Brown

On today’s show, Author Andre Michael Eggelletion filled in for Reverend Sharpton. Sharpton went to visit Ferguson, Missouri where 18 year old Michael Brown was gunned down by a police officer. After the shooting, the community expressed their outrage through riots and minor looting. Brown’s parents requested Sharpton come to the community to give a national voice to their Black community without the violence. With so many cases of police brutality against African-Americans, Sharpton’s National Action Network is fighting for a change within the police force.

Sharpton sat down with the attorney representing Michael Brown’s family, Benjamin Crump, and Michael Brown’s cousin Eric Davis for more insight into this tragic case, and the many cases like it. Listen to the interview below, and tell us what you think of this unfortunate case.
