And as soon as tickets went on sale today (Aug. 8) for that show, he added a second for the following night (Sept. 20). Both shows begin at 6:30pm. Update: A third show has now also been added on Sept. 19 at 10:30 p.m.
All the Atlanta shows will take at Philips Arena, and the ticket price for each and every seat is $71.50 (including all taxes and fees), available now through Ticketmaster. Brooks’ wife Trisha Yearwood is also on the bill.
Atlanta is the second stop on Brooks’ recently announced World Tour, which kicks off Sept. 4 in Chicago. That single Chicago date soon expanded to a total of 10 shows running Sept. 4-14, all taking place at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont.
Since announcing that series of Chicago shows, Brooks went on to break his own sales record for number of tickets sold in a single city. His previous record was 162,822 tickets sold for shows in Minneapolis in October of 1998. Now his Chicago ticket sales have officially surpassed that — and the total number sold is still rising, as some dates still have seats available.
