Bruce Mathews: “You Get Sick Of Going Against Your Guys Over And Over”

Former Offensive Lineman with the Houston Oilers/Tennesse Titans and 2007 Hall Of Fame Inductee, Bruce Matthews joins the show to discuss his son Jake Matthews and the Titans.

Matthews shared that “you get sick of going against your guys over and over” speaking on training camp and guys getting testy with one another. He also shared, “it’s another practice so coaches love it.” speaking on the Titans scrimmaging the Falcons.

When asked about his son, Jake Matthews the HOF Offensive Lineman shared, “He’s very aware that he has a lot to learn and he understands the fundamentals very well. He’s real excited about it all!”. Matthews also shared this bit of advice to his son, The biggest thing is to be prepared. The guys on the Defensive Line are going to bring it and challenge you with something you haven’t seen.”
