Former APS Supt. Beverly Hall Bedridden; Will Not Be Attending Trial

Sources have confirmed former Atlanta Public School superintendent Beverly Hall will not be able to attend her trial which is set for August 11 due to her being bedridden from fighting stage 4 breast cancer.

Hall is facing racketeering conspiracy charges in the 2011 APS test cheating scandal. Her trial was initially set for April 2014, but was postponed due to attorney requests.

Hall’s attorneys say her condition is worsening, making her too sick to go to trial because she will not be able to focus in court.
