Man’s Body Pulled From Lake Allatoona

ACWORTH, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say the body of a man who drowned in a north Georgia lake has been recovered.

State Department of Natural Resources officials say a man who appeared to be in his late 20s jumped into Lake Allatoona Saturday and never resurfaced. The man’s body was recovered Saturday evening, authorities have said the man dove into the Tanyard Creek portion of the lake.

The man’s identity hasn’t been released.
