Today on Real Talk with Rashad Richey our special guest was Community Activist Marcus Coleman. Marcus Coleman is the spokesperson for the family of Bounkham “Bou Bou” Phonesavanh, a 19-month-old, who asleep in his portable crib in the same room as his parents and three older sisters, was injured after a flashbang was thrown into his crib while the Habersham County Sheriff’s office was serving a no knock warrant. Officials stated that an informant led them to the home, after he purchased Meth from a suspected drug dealer who lived in the house.

The family of six lived in the house for 2 months after losing their home to a fire. The parents of the child noticed the behavior of the suspected drug dealer and were planning to move their children from the home just hours after the unfortunate event took place.

Marcus Coleman stopped by Real Talk to give Rashad and the WAOK community an update on the child and the family. Listen to the interview below.
