Dave Butz, former defensive lineman for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Redskins, joins Jason and Randy to discuss being elected to the 2014 College Football Hall of Fame class. He shared “It’s quite an elite group and i’m very honored to be there.”

On the subject of playing with pain the NFL and the ex players lawsuit against the NFL Dave Butz had this to say, “every person as an individual needs. You could play or not play. It was left up to you. I played a lot with pain because that way you could monitor the situation.”

Finally he discusses the changes in the NFL from now to when he played and also what it was like dealing with going up against Randy Cross in the NFL. “I hope they don’t destroy the game of football because it is a contact sport”, said Butz “it’s turned pretty much into a wrestling match.”
