Dan Corso, Executive Director for the Atlanta Sports Council and Senior VP of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, joins the show to discuss what the role of the Sports Council and what makes Atlanta such a good city to host big events.

When asked the importance of constantly upgrading facilities Dan Corso shared “Our goal is to recruit events. The venues are a key part to getting events, but when you look at the entire package that Atlanta has to offer there’s no city in the country that can host a sporting event better than Atlanta.”

Asked what events were on the radar of the Atlanta Sports Council Corso answered, “We all want to get another Super Bowl here, we just submitted a very competitive bid for another Men’s Final Four (2018, 2019, and 2020), and then of course we look forward to getting a college football championship here.”
