Numerous Civil rights leaders took to the airwaves of WAOK on Wednesday to give their opinion on the continuing saga of Donald Sterling. Those leaders included, Dekalb County NAACP President John Evans, Judge Dexter Wimbish, and Dr. Joseph E. Lowery, President Emeritus of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. The show was hosted by David Stokes, editor of the Atlanta Inquirer.

Around the country leaders and owners of NBA franchises have weighed in on the racist comments of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

Since the privately taped comments were made public, Sterling has been barred for life from any NBA facility, from any interaction  with his team and he has been fined $2.5 million.
