Today on Sisters in Law with attorney’s Janice and Davida Mathis our special guest was Reverend Judge Penny Brown-Reynolds. Judge Penny stopped by to inform the WAOK audience of her upcoming summit Teen Talk: Job Readiness Workshop and Real Talk, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 3rd.

While discussing the basis of Teen Talk, Judge Penny passionately spoke about the plagues of the black community, and how the younger generation is lacking the proper guidance that previous generations had. She also discussed the lack of proper parenting in the black community has put our youth at a disadvantage when they embark on joining the workforce and adulthood.

Teen Talk will take place at the Godby Road Recreation Center at 2300 Godby Road in College Park, GA 30349 on Saturday, May 3. Registration will begin at 9am.
