ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta police say they have arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with the death of his grandmother.

The student showed up at Therrell High School on Friday morning with blood on his clothes. A police spokesman says officials at the school questioned him and the information he provided led officers to the grandmother’s home. They found 76-year-old Mary Price dead from multiple injuries.

A spokeswoman for the Atlanta Public Schools says the student was involved in a domestic dispute prior to the start of school.

Police have not released the student’s name or said whether he will be charged as an adult.
