Department Of Labor Hosting Income Equality Forum

ATLANTA (AP) — The U.S. Department of Labor’s Women’s Bureau is planning to host a forum in Atlanta later this week.

Organizers say the forum is meant to address income equality and challenges working families are faced with. Organizers say Deputy Director of the Center for Law and Social Policy, Jodie Levin-Epstein will deliver a keynote address and Democratic state Sen. Nan Orrock will give a legislative update.

The Atlanta Working Families Forum will also present a panel of community leaders, and representatives from several other organizations are expected to be on hand.

The forum is being hosted at the King Center Auditorium and begins at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
