AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — A south Georgia gun dealer is facing federal weapons charges.
Prosecutors say 53-year-old William Arnold Debow is charged with 28 counts of knowingly transferring a gun to a convicted felon. He’s also charged with 10 counts of transferring a handgun out-of-state.
Court records don’t show whether the man has a lawyer.
Authorities say Debow is a federally licensed firearms dealer whose business is called The Ponderosa Trading Company.
A post on the company’s Facebook page accuses a critic of spreading lies about its operations.
