ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia’s attorney general is set to kick off an annual food drive competition among the state’s lawyers.

Attorney General Sam Olens plans to launch the third annual Georgia Legal Food Frenzy Tuesday at the state Capitol. The food raised during the food drive benefits the state’s seven regional food banks.

The law firm or legal organization that collects the most pounds of food per employee wins the Attorney General’s Cup. Olens will also present a special award to the Law School that collects the most pounds per person.

Solo-practitioner Walter G. “Bo” Sammons Jr, of Sammons & Sammons in Warner Robins won the grand prize last year, with 9,218 pounds.

Mercer University has taken the law school prize for the last two years.
