GOP Buys First Ad To Honor Black History Month

(Washington, DC) —  It’s Black History Month and for the first time ever the Republican National Committee is launching a paid ad campaign to honor the occasion.  The RNC will run 30-second radio spots and produce a series print ads that highlight the accomplishments of African-American Republicans, including former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.  The Democratic National Committee is criticizing the campaign as a hollow gesture.  A DNC spokesperson tells CNN Republicans can do more for African-Americans by supporting policies that give all communities “a fair shake.”
