ATLANTA (AP) — Fulton County Sheriff’s officials say they’ve recaptured an inmate who escaped a transport bus in northwest Atlanta.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan says 21-year-old Ulysesse Cleckley was wearing a blue jail jumpsuit when he fled authorities in the area of English Avenue Tuesday evening. Flanagan says he was recaptured at the North Avenue MARTA train station.

Cleckley has been convicted of burglary, criminal damage to property and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

Authorities had launched a manhunt and called on other law enforcement agencies — including the Georgia State Patrol, Atlanta police and others — to help search for the man.
