The Sidney Wood ShowToday Sidney dedicated the entire show to discuss our educational system. The latest PISA (Program For International Student Assessment) report showed that the United Sates performed average in reading and science and scored below average in mathematics among other countries. PISA is a international assessment that measures 15-year old students’ in reading. mathematics, and science literacy. Countries such as China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea scored highest in all three subjects. Some of the listeners believe that Asians have a strong work ethic when it comes to education and it is not necessarily a trait inherited. What do you think?

In Georgia, there is a 49 percent drop out rate among Atlanta Public Schools. This is just one of many examples of our educational system not working. Where and who do we place the blame?
