Many Retailers To Be Open On Thanksgiving Day

Atlanta (WAOK/AJC) — Retailers across Atlanta have promised to open their doors on Thanksgiving Day. The openings follow a growing movement by retailers to lure consumers into their stores on the holiday and keep the stores open through Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

Below is a list of stores that will be opening Thanksgiving day

The Mall of Georgia – 8 P.M.
Town Center at Cobb – 8 P.M.
Northlake Mall – 8 P.M.

K Mart – 6 A.M.
Old Navy – 9 A.M.
Walmart – 6 P.M.
Best Buy – 6 P.M.
Macy’s – 8 P.M.
JCPenney – 8 P.M.
Sears – 8 P.M.
Target – 8 P.M.
Kohls – 8 P.M.

The Mall of Georgia will be giving away holiday ornaments to the first 250 customers that register at the guest services kiosk and Town Center and Cobb will give away “Black Friday Weekend” survival kits to the first 100 who register. Lenox Square Mall will open Friday at midnight while Phipps Plaza will open at 8 A.M. on Friday.
