Today on the Rev. Al Sharpton Show it was “Hot Topic Monday.” Callers called in with different issues and topics they felt needed to be addressed. The top stories included George Zimmerman’s arrest today and gun violence, but a major issue was Sarah Palin’s recent slavery remarks. Sarah Palin said over the weekend that the national debt is similar to slavery, because when the bill comes due, Americans will be at the mercy of the lenders.
