Atlanta (WAOK/AJC) — If you ever wanted to be able to renew your drivers license online or take care of other business without standing in line for hours now is your chance. According to Department of Driver Services commissioner Rob Mikell, drivers are now able to not only check their driving reinstatement eligibility, but also view, print and email a list of their reinstatement requirements thanks to a new online service.
The new service is available for drivers who have a license that is suspended, revoked or cancelled. The DDS is hopeful that the new online service will provide relief to long customer wait times across the state, as the company processes 200,000 license reinstatement’s every year. Mikell said that the online service hopes to save the state and residents time and money, as well as “directly impact our service levels at all customer service centers.”
