Veterans Empowerment Organization Talks About Making A Difference And Kaiser Permanent Gives Anti-Aging Secrets
It’s Veterans Day Weekend in the nation and here on Atlanta Up Close with Cynthia Mallard. Each day our veterans risk their lives to maintain our freedom, rights, and safety. As a nation we take one day to remember and celebrate all that our veterans mean to us. The Veterans Empowerment Organization of Georgia is doing all they can to give back to some of our disabled and homeless veterans. Through housing and charity events, Trenton Huzzie and Riondo Jackson, give back to our veterans, like Lonnie Streeter, and help them just as they have helped us.
And stay tuned as Kaiser Permanente has provided quality health care for more than 60 years. Today its about tackling the issues of aging. Dr. Kelly DeGraffenreid is a family practitioner and chief of Ambulatory Medicine with Kaiser Permanente Georgia. Ms. DeGraffenreid gives insight on many issues senior citizens face and how you can prevent them from happening at a younger age. Ms. DeGraffenreid and Kaiser Permanente strive to improve the health of their members and their communities. They hope to serve, by creating safe, healthy environments and providing care and coverage for all.
