The Falcons’ offense has been putrid the last few weeks, yielding eight turnovers (seven interceptions) in back-to-back losses to Arizona and Carolina. Matt Ryan has had to deal with a spate of costly injuries that have largely hampered the once-potent offense and all-but washed away a chance at a promising season.

But on Thursday, Ryan and the Falcons got some promising news as they prepare for Sunday’s tilt against Seattle – a rematch of last year’s divisional playoff game.

It should be noted that in last year’s win over the Seahawks, White had five catches for 76 yards, including a 47-yard touchdown grab.

White has missed the Falcons’ last three games (1-2) with hamstring and ankle injuries, and although he tried to return last week against the Panthers, he didn’t feel comfortable following pre-game warm-ups.
