For the first time in a long time, the Atlanta Falcons have a double digit number in their weekly injury report. This week 10 Falcons are listed, with half on the offense and the other half on the defensive side of the ball.

The good news is that only one player is listed as out for the game. The better news is that he is not a starter. Outside linebacker Stephen Nicholas (thigh) is the lone Falcon who will definitely not be suiting up on Sunday. He was the only Falcons player to not participate in any of the practices this week.

Of the four other defensive players, just one of them is a backup. Defensive tackle Peria Jerry (toe) was limited in practice both Wednesday and Thursday, but was able to return to full participation on Friday. He is one of the five Atlanta players listed as probable.

The other three defensive starters are middle linebacker Akeem Dent (ankle), strong safety William Moore (hip) and right defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee). All three men were limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday but Dent, the only one listed as probable, was the only one back to full participation on Friday. The others were limited throughout the week and are both listed as questionable. Thomas Stansly Maponga, Howard and  Zeke Motta are listed as the current backups of Osi, Dent and Moore, respectively.

Three of the five Atlanta offensive players listed this week are starters. They are Roddy White (hamstring/ankle), left tackle Sam Baker (knee) and right guard Garrett Reynolds (knee). Roddy did not participate either Wednesday or Thursday and was limited on Friday. He is listed as questionable. Drew Davis or Kevin Cone would likely fill in for Roddy if he is still unavailable on Sunday.

Reynolds and Baker were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Baker was limited for the entire week and joins Roddy as the only two Falcons listed as questionable on the offensive side. Harland Gunn and Ryan Schraeder are currently listed as the backups to Reynolds and Baker, respectively.

Reynolds, along with backup center Joe Hawley (elbow) and backup running back Jason Snelling (ankle) were able to fully participate in practice on Friday. Hawley and Snelling were limited in practice on Thursday and are both listed as probable with Hawley limited on Wednesday and Snelling unable to participate that day.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 pm EST.
