Atlanta(WAOK/V103)- Hundreds turned out Tuesday night  to Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church in Decatur for the continuing Let Us Make Man,WAOK and V103 series, in reclaiming the black family and black manhood. Tuesday night’s  discussion and workshop focused on the top consequences of thug life.  Attorney Mawuli Mel Davis of  Davis Bozeman Law Firm and WAOK’s Derrick Boazman led the workshop and engaged attendees on what every parent and child needs to know to avoid an unproductive life of  criminal traps . The workshop featuring  V103’s Greg Street  delved into  gang activity, rap music, peer pressure, rebellion, drug use, and how parents can  guide children who may be  headed down the wrong direction.  Davis used popular music from artist such the late Tupac Shakur to explain how thug life leads to death and jail.  Davis told attendees “Our children are running, and they are tired of running. This is an opportunity to help them.” The workshop was the third workshop and discussion in the Let Us Make Man series in reclaiming the black family.
