ATLANTA (CBS Atlanta/AP) — Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will visit Atlanta to promote President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul.

Vilsack is scheduled to appear Tuesday afternoon at the West End Medical Center to discuss the changes to the insurance market. The center is assisting residents in selecting health care plans on the federally run exchange.

As a Democrat, Vilsack will be taking the administration’s message to Georgia, where local Republicans have refused to expand the state’s Medicaid program and opted against setting up a state-run health care exchange.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is expected to testify before Congress Wednesday about the glitches HealthCare.gov has experienced since being launched Oct. 1.
