Does losing build character?

One Texas high school students parents would answer no, it’s humiliating. After her son’s school, Fort Worth Western Hills, had a “tough loss” to the Bearcats of Aledo High School she took things to the next level.

Texas high schools do not employ the no mercy rule which would end the game after a 35 point lead like schools in other states.

The parent of one of the players on the losing team felt as if he son was humiliated and embarrassed by the loss and she filed an official bullying complaint against Aledo High School.

If you were a parent of a child on the losing team would you have done the same?
