Dave Choate of the Falcoholic and SB Nation joined Overtime with Jim Murray to talk about the state of the Falcons. While most fans are deeming the Falcons’ season over with a rough start, Choate believes there’s still things that can be done to fix this team.

With Julio Jones possibly being out for the season, the face of the Falcons offense will change. Since the team on a bye-week in Week 6, they’ll have plenty of time to get a few players healthy. Choate says Offensive Coordinator, Dirk Koetter, must find a way to incorporate both Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling when Steven Jackson returns.

What if the Falcons season fails like fans are predicting? Dave Choate said the blame is either on Head Coach Mike Smith or GM Thomas Dimitroff. The moves that have been made by Dimitroff have simply not worked out and he didn’t pay too much attention to the lines.
