ATLANTA (WAOK/AJC) —  Late Friday night a Cobb County High School graduate was shot to death at a block party in Alabama.

The Tuskegee Police Department and Alabama Bureau of Investigations are investigating the fatal shooting of Bobby “B.J.” Smith, a 21 year old senior finance major and member of the tennis team at Tuskegee University.

Smith, graduated from South Cobb County High School in  2010  and is the father of a baby less than a month old. Smith is remembered by school principal Ashley Hosey as having an “infectious smile, a bigger than life personality, unlimited jokes and honestly a gift of mischievous adventure.”
