Report: Mumford & Sons Kicked Out Of Atlanta Strip Club

ATLANTA (CBS Atlanta) — Instead of “making it rain,” Mumford & Sons were too busy getting kicked out of a strip club.

TMZ reports the band was booted from an Atlanta strip club Tuesday night for filming — not the strippers — but one of the members performing karaoke on stage.

“After several warnings from our security staff not to take pictures, at least one member of the band was taking pictures and when they were asked not to take the pictures they became verbally abusive and were asked to leave,” Jack Barnes, manager of the Clermont Lounge, told WXIA-TV.

The band reportedly cursed out strip club officials after they were told repeatedly to stop filming. They were then told to vacate the club.

Even though they were kicked out, the strip club’s manager says the band will always be welcomed back.

“They are still welcomed back,” Barnes told WXIA. “They can come back to Thursday’s anniversary party as a matter of fact.”

Mumford & Sons performed at Centennial Olympic Park Tuesday.
