Pay It Forward Friday: Walk To Defeat ALS
Join the Journey! Welcome to my personal fundraising page as a member of Ed’s Journey, a Walk Team dedicated to my Father-In-Law, Ed Vetter. Make a donation as a virtual walker or join my team and walk with me on September 21, 2013.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps makes a difference in the life of an ALS patient. Thank you for your support!
Currently, there is no cure for ALS so it is effectively a death sentence when someone is diagnosed with this disease. Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
God bless you,

More About ALS
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
It costs an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join my walk team today! Join Ed’s Journey!
