With all the perceived progress made in a losing effort to the Baltimore Ravens last week, even more questions and concerns have come about after the Atlanta Falcons 27-16 defeat at the hands of the Tennessee Titans. This game was perceived to be the final tune up before the regular season for the starters, however the Falcons did not look like a well-oiled machine. There were some positives but obviously there are some glaring holes with the “Dirty Birds” and they manifested itself during this game. Some players were thrown into the mix because of injury or rotational situations with the starters and were introduced to the talent in the NFL essentially getting “baptized by fire” for lack of a better term. The Atlanta Falcons have a final preseason game with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Thursday night at 7:30 from the Georgia Dome. Although the last preseason game is typically used to solidify final roster spots, I believe that some starters have to play extended minutes just for the reps. I am not “abandoning ship” on this team, but there are very important issues that have to be addressed for the Falcons. Here is what I think the Atlanta Falcons should focus on for the week, take a listen;

Hopefully the Atlanta Falcons are able to correct everything before the preseason is over to accomplish their lofty goals going forward.
