The Associated Press released the preseason Top 25 for the 2013 season on Saturday, and it featured, to no one’s surprise, the Alabama Crimson Tide at No. 1.

If you think the AP poll looks similar to the Coaches Poll, released earlier this month, you are absolutely correct. The AP Top 25 has the exact same 25 teams, and all but six are ranked at the exact same position.

Questions regarding the eligibility of Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel has not shaken the AP voters, as the Aggies land at No. 7, just one spot below their ranking in the Coaches Poll — released Aug. 1. ESPN’s first report regarding allegations that Johnny Manziel accepted money in exchange for autographs and signed memorabilia was released Aug. 4.

Check out the full AP Top 25 below, with comparisons to the Coaches Poll and 126 (a composite of ballots from our college football experts).
