Today on Power Talk with Lorraine was “Talk Back Friday,” which means the callers came up with the topics!

One of the headlines was former President Jimmy Carter’s comments regarding the verdict in the Zimmerman trial. In an interview with NBC, Carter stated, “I think the jury made the right decision based on the evidence presented, because the prosecution inadvertently set the standard so high that the jury had to be convinced that it was a deliberate act by Zimmerman, that he was not at all defending himself.”

Regardless the opinion, it seems the majority of America wants a change to occur with Stand Your Ground Laws–over 20 states have some form of the law. Action for progress has been on many agendas.
