Georgia Association Of Educators Talk Back To School And Peachtree International Film Fest Marks Its 8th Year

This weekend  Cynthia talks with  the  Georgia Association of Educators  and the Atlanta Association of Educators who are  gearing up for back to school. The organization has about 2000 members and they fight  for the rights of educators when it comes to salaries, qualifying students and simply improving the working conditions .  Ramon Reeves  Atlanta Educators president along with GAE  administrators  Karen Floyd and and Debra Nelson   roll out their legislative  and everyday agenda.

And  the Peachtree Village International Film Fest  is coming to Atlanta  August 23rd. It’s in its 8th year and becoming an Atlanta festival comparable to Sundance and Tribeca.  Film fest  Len Gibson talks furthering African Americans hands in the art of film making and what it means in the Georgia entertainment boom.
