Chris Paul wasted no time in making it official — he’s back.

Right at midnight eastern time, which is when the league’s free agency moratorium was lifted and players were allowed to officially sign, Paul and the Clippers each tweeted pictures of the franchise point guard signing his new contract.

According to Ken Berger of, that contract he signed is for five years (with an opt-out after year four) for about $107 million.
