ATLANTA (WAOK)-Atlanta Police are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery that happened early Tuesday at a beauty supply store in east Atlanta. Police say they responded to a call at the Virgin & Remy Hair Extension store at 572 Edgewood Ave shortly after 3:30 a.m.
Officers, found the glass doors, windows and a metal gate smashed.
Atlanta Police Capt. Tim Peek said the hair weave bandits backed a pick-up truck through the front window of the hair store.
Store owner Denis McKinley said although the bandits didn’t take much other than hair, the store will be closed for a while to repair the damages.
Investigators will review surveillance video from the store and nearby businesses to help find the thieves.
