ATLANTA (WAOK) – A march commemorating the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s famous march on Washington is being scheduled. Plans for the August 24th march will be unveiled in a news conference in Washington, DC today. The news conference will feature Reverend Al Sharpton and Martin Luther King the Third. A news release says participants in the August event will call on Congress to “work toward the fulfillment of Dr. King’s dream for jobs and justice.”
