ATLANTA (WAOK) – The role of today’s father is changing. Fatherville.com founder Mike Farrell says non-traditional dads are becoming far more common. A recent study by the Pew Research Center shows that 40 percent of mothers are the family breadwinner in households with children under the age of 18. That means more men are assuming roles traditionally left to women in the family. Farrell says when Father’s Day rolls around on June 16th, families will be celebrating fathers with traditional and non-traditional responsibilities.
