Before I get into this understand the best player in the league shot no free throws in Game 3! NONE!
I have seen this before, I have been here before, but that was before Lebron James had proven that he was a champion and sitting at the champions table with all the other greats that had won NBA championships. He has put both the Finals MVP Trophy (The Bill Russell Trophy) and the Larry O’Brien Trophy above his head. Its time for Lebron to pull up his big boy pants and play like the champion he is, if he does not the Heat are done and all the talk about “Not 1, Not 2, Not 3……” continues to be a just a dream. Lebron s Legacy is on the line tonight in game 4, the Heat are the NBA defending champs and this is their 3rd straight NBA finals appearance STOP WITH THE THE EXCUSES! IT’S THE NBA FINALS FOR HEAVEN SAKES!
After struggling to score through the first three games of the NBA Finals, LeBron James has made several bold promises to his skeptics – and his fans – heading into Game 4. “I’ll be better” “I’ll be much better Thursday night.” Say it with me …I’ve seen this before, I’ve been here before!
LeBron James vows to be more aggressive in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The Heat trail the San Antonio Spurs 2-1 in Game 3 in which James missed 14 of 21 shots, including 11 of his 13 attempts. James said he takes “full responsibility for that” and is putting pressure on himself to improve.
James is averaging 16.7 points on 38.9 percent shooting in the series? That is not good enough! He has also missed 10 of 13 3-pointer attempts and only taken six free throws!!!!!!! In comparison, James averaged 29 points in the Eastern Conference finals against the Indiana Pacers, 23.6 points in the second round against the Chicago Bulls and 24.5 points in the first round against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Lebron said “I’m putting all the pressure on my chest, on my shoulders to come through for our team,” Are you getting all these quotes?
LEBRON IS SAYING WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING! HE HAS TO BE MORE AGGRESSIVE AND IT STARTS WITH HIM!
“I have to do whatever it takes,” James said. “I mean, 7‑for‑21 isn’t going to cut it. Zero free throws. I had 11 rebounds, I had five assists, but 7‑for‑21 and zero free throws ain’t going to cut it.
While I will acknowledged that the rest of his teammates also need to step up, HE HAS TO LEAD THE WAY!
