Braves reporter Grant McAuley joined Overtime with Jim Murray to talk about the Braves 3-2 loss to the Nationals tonight. McAuley says Gonzalez put BJ Upton in for Gattis as a strategic move for the team that didn’t end up working out. They also discussed the wasted outing for Teheran who had a great game with 9 strikeouts. Strasburg’s early exit could have also thrown off the Braves offense since that’s who they prepared for. But one positive for the Braves was Freddie Freeman’s great game offensively tonight. Check out the full interview below!
