ATLANTA (AP) — U.S. Marshals say a man accused of killing his wife 25 years ago in Washington D.C. has been arrested in the Atlanta area.

Marshals spokesman Gavin Duffy says new evidence has implicated Michael Henderson in his wife’s 1987 stabbing death in Washington, D.C.

Duffy says Henderson was arrested at his job in Conyers — about 25 miles east of downtown Atlanta. Duffy says Henderson had been living in Conyers since at least 2010.

Duffy says Henderson was formally indicted last week and it’s unclear if he was an attorney.
