Dir.Kenny Leon And Producers Tonya Lewis Lee and Nikki Silver Talk New Hallmark Channel Film

This weekend,  Cynthia Talks  Birmingham 16th Street Church Bombing with Director Kenny Leon.  Leon is directing a project based on the book The Watsons Go To Birmingham.  It’s the story set in  1963 exploring civil rights, Martin Luther King Jr involvement along with other civil rights leaders from Georgia, Alabama and Lousiana  and the struggle for equality amongst our people.  Cynthia  also talks the 29th  Sweet Auburn Spring Fest happening Mothers Day Weekend. Daughter of founder Charles Johnson, Ms. Jeneen Johnson Jordan  sits down to talk the history of Auburn Ave, her father’s legacy and what’s different with the Sprinfest and what it means to Atlanta.
