On Tuesday, the GWCCA Stadium Development Committee voted to recommend 360 Architecture to oversee the development of the new Falcons stadium. 360’s project list is impressive, including the American Airlines Arena in Miami, New York’s new MetLife Stadium, and Cisco Field, home of the Oakland A’s. 360 has submitted designs for the stadium and have two current concepts: The Pantheon and The Solarium.
The Pantheon has a retractable roof and the feel of JerryWorld in Dallas, minus the massive video board, but with ribbon boards around the upper rim of the stadium.
It looks like a space ship from the outside.
Did I mention the retractable roof?
The Solarium is more similar in feel to the Arizona Cardinals’ stadium or Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
And also has a retractable roof.
