ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) – A judge is considering a request that some charges be dismissed against a woman accused of arranging for her husband to be killed.

Lawyers for Andrea Sneiderman have asked that 13 of the 16 charges against her be dismissed.

A hearing is planned for Wednesday in Decatur to consider the matter and other pre-trial issues that arise.

Sneiderman’s lawyers maintain that charges of perjury, providing false statements and concealing material facts are vague and aren’t specific enough as required by due process clauses.

Sneiderman is accused of arranging for her former boss, Hemy Neuman, to kill her husband, Rusty Sneiderman, outside a Dunwoody preschool in 2010. Sneiderman has pleaded not guilty to all 16 charges.

A jury found Neuman guilty but mentally ill of killing Rusty Sneiderman.
