Florida Gulf Coast dominated the headlines early in the NCAA Tournament, but Wichita State will go down as the Cinderella of 2013. The Shockers are the first 9-seed to ever make the Final Four and are in the national semifinals for the first time in 48 years. Gregg Marshall’s squad eliminated number-one ranked Gonzaga last weekend and are now off to Atlanta after knocking off Ohio State. The Shockers join a list of other surprising teams that made it all the way to the final weekend of the Big Dance, since the tournament committee began seeding all the teams in 1979.

End Result: Loses to Michigan State 101-67 in the Final Four and then 96-93 to DePaul in the third place game.
