Today, we talked about the recent decision in Chicago to close 54 public schools in order to deal with a $1billion education deficit, low performing schools and utilization of resources.  Dr. Steve Perry, Principal of Capital Prep in Hartford, CT and our resident education expert, joined us for a riveting conversation about raggedy schools, parents getting played and why the Teachers Union is really the one failing our children.  In Chicago, the parent protests were loud but disciplined and focused on Mayor Rahm Emanuel and his decision making.
