CRESTVIEW, Ala. (CBS Atlanta) - A local woman is facing multiple charges after crack cocaine “cookies” were found in her genitals during a body cavity search.
Porcha Gross, 21 of Evergreen, Ala., was in a Jeep that was pulled over earlier this month after deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office spotted the car’s faulty tag lights, according to the Northwest Florida Daily News.
During the traffic stop, a K-9 unit was reportedly called in to investigate the car, and a blunt containing marijuana was found on the passenger side of the car.
Gross was arrested and taken to the county jail, where she was subjected to a body cavity searched by female employees.
Several pieces of what was referred to as a crack cocaine “cookie” were reportedly found in her private parts during the search.
The paper learned that Gross now faces several charges, including introducing contraband to a detention facility, possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
She will be seen in court on April 9 regarding the charges.
