Teen’s Necklace May Have Led To Milton Killing

MILTON, Ga. (AP) — Police say they believe some young men were eyeing a Milton teen’s necklace as they ordered fast-food at a Taco Bell in Atlanta’s suburbs, then followed him home to try and rob him.

Investigators say that 19-year-old Chris Walker had stopped at the restaurant on Haynes Bridge Road in Alpharetta before heading home to the Atlanta suburb of Milton. He was shot in the head around 7:30 p.m. March 12 at his parents’ home in Milton. Police have said it appeared the suspect tried to grab something from Walker, who resisted.

On Thursday, police released surveillance video of three men inside the Taco Bell whom they describe as persons of interest in the case. Police are asking anyone with information about the men in the video to contact police.
