Nearly Half Of Men Under 35 Admit To Double-Dipping Chips
Almost half of men age 18 to 34 have admitted to committing one of the biggest party etiquette faux pas — double dipping. In celebration of National Chip and Dip Day, which is this Saturday, Tostitos conducted a survey of chip-dipping habits and found that men and young people are the most guilty of sneaking a second dip.
While 46 percent of young men say they’ve done it, only a third of young women also admit to the double dipping action. Just one in four people overall are guilty of the unappetizing act. Most let it slide if they notice a chip entering the dipping area for a second time, but 25 percent said they have no problem calling out offending party-goers.
