Lithonia(WAOK)-The once flourishing New Birth Missionary Baptist Church says  it will close down the  Christian Academy at the end of this school year. The school says the closing is due to increasingly low enrollment and a  bad economy. The academy is  located on New Birth church  campus  in Lithonia, GA and has been  opened since 1993. The teachers and students are being asked to make plans to transition into other schools.
